Holiday Club

Our holiday club started in March 2016. It runs 5 days a week during each half term, the Easter and summer holidays. We cater for children of all ages and offer the same sessions as during term time.

There are a variety of fun and interactive activities run by the same staff your children play with during term-time. We create a balance for the children to be able to have a relaxed and quiet time or as busy a time as they choose. Although there is a routine, it is more flexible and adaptable to the daily choices and balance of the children attending.

Our holiday club activities include trips to the local areas such as Buxton, river walks, local parks, pottery sessions using a potters wheel, making bracelets, garden decorations, creating a ‘cinema’, going to the local shops, baking, art activities, picnics, paddling pools and even a pyjama party!

From it’s first session, it has been very popular, especially for our working parents who have told us what a difference it has made to not only their holidays but their children’s too - one family in particular accessed the holiday club for their 4 year old and his 6 year old sister initially for one day a week but after that first day, prompted by the children’s request, came back every day it was available that holiday, and since!  

The children who have used the holiday club have shown to be enthused, excited and very happy to come to holiday club.
